Junior Prom

Here's everything you need to know about attending prom...

• Prom will be held on Friday, May 17th at the Westin Waltham Boston, 70 3rd Avenue, Waltham, MA from 6:00pm - 10:00pm.

• The Grand March prior to the prom will be held in the AHS gymnasium beginning at 4:00pm.

• Tickets go on sale in the cafeteria beginning on April 1st and will be on sale until April 12th.  This is a hard deadline to ensure we have a proper count for the venue.  Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria by class officers during these two weeks.  Students can pay using cash, a check made out to "AHS Student Activities" or through the online payment system BillPay, on the Town of Ashland website (in the section "HS Student Payments"

• Tickets cost $80 per person; members of the Class of 2025 are permitted to buy one ticket for themselves and one for a guest.

• Class dues must be paid in full through junior year in order to purchase a prom ticket.

• If there is a financial hardship for tickets, please reach out to Mr. McGann or Mrs. Shiels to form a plan.

• That day is an Early Release Day, and students must attend the full day in order to be permitted to attend prom.

• Students must provide their own transportation to the prom venue.

• If you are taking as your guest a non-AHS student:

- A member of the class of 2025 can bring one guest outside of AHS to prom

- The person must be under 21 years of age

- Pick up permission form from the main office (early! it will take time for you to get the form completed)

- Permission form is due on Friday, May 3rd (no exceptions)
