Street team "Routes" and Instructions

Street Team Update: Guides distribution March 11/12/13

1. Arrange with Beth via email/text (volunteers@ashevillefringe.org--see email) when/where you can pick up your stack of guides on Tues/Wed

   • Let me know which route/part of route you plan to do

   • You can pick up guides at LEAF Global Arts : I'll add you to a Street Team text thread of the day so you will be able to have the door opened for you at LEAF

2. Instructions

   • • you may want to bring a bag/box

• pick up the guides, the paper list of your chosen route, and stickers 

  • you could also just keep this webpage on your phone open for reference

  • MATH: You will need about 8 guides per place you intend to visit and 2 stickers per guide. A sticker sheet has 33 stickers. 

• sticker the guides as you go--one on front, one on "quick glance of schedule" in middle (this is a sticker with a QR Code link to the online guide due to schedule changes)

• after distributing on your route, check off all the boxes of the places you went, and if you added more places, make a note on the sheet

• when you're done, take a screenshot of your filled-out sheet and send it to Beth at 828-273-1547 --please tell her your name as well:)

3. We will update the routes on the website here when they have been flyered

4. Rule of thumb on how many to give out to each place

   • Number of flyers per venue: up to a dozen-

----that is based on an estimate that only half the places on the "routes" lists will be visited with flyers. 

---So small places with not much space, maybe only a few, like 4-5. Hotels/larger venues who love us (i.e. Sly Grog) give at least a dozen.
