AES Library Media Center

Mrs. Silva started her teaching career at AHS in 2010, teaching Health Science. She moved to AES and the library in 2025. She is a graduate of Harding University, where she received her BSN, and will graduate from Southern Arkansas University with her M Ed. in Library Media and Information Science in July of 2026. She is also a proud third-generation AHS graduate. She was most recently honored as the ADE Office of Innovation 2025 Trailblazer Educator Award Recipient. In 2025, she also completed the Arkansas Leadership Academy  Teacher Leader Program and received the licensure designation of Lead Teacher. Mrs. Silva values creativity and innovation, and is passionate about spreading library joy wherever she goes! 

Ms. Bond started her career in education with the Texarkana Arkansas Independent School District, where she served as a Paraprofessional. She worked with students and families of Texarkana for 11 years. She has always been a Panther at heart and moved home to work for her Alma Mater in 2023. She has worked at AES for 3 years as a Paraprofessional. She works part time alongside teachers to teach English Language Learners. She provides one-on-one and small group instruction, helping students build speaking skills, listening, reading, and writing skills to integrate successfully into the classroom. She also serves part time as our Library Paraprofessional working alongside the Teacher Librarian supporting students and teachers in the library.
