Ms. Gina Elizondo G7

Hi! I am Gina Elizondo,  ASFM's Counselor for Grade 7 and this is my 8th year at ASFM. I love working with teenagers and helping them through the transition of adolescence into adulthood. I am passionate about understanding the human mind and behavior as well as creating meaningful relationships. Some of my hobbies are basketball, tennis, traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends. I am very excited t grateful and motivated l to work in a place were my passions and skills align.

Ms. Kacy Brubaker G8

Hello! I am Kacy Brubaker, ASFM's MS Counselor for Grade 8. This is my first year at ASFM and my 8th year working as a school counselor. I have previously lived in Indiana, Australia, the Navajo Nation, Brazil, and Atlanta, GA. I am passionate about social-emotional learning and helping teens discover and feel empowered to use their own unique voice.  In my free time I enjoy hiking, spending time with my dog and family, and relaxing poolside. I am excited to explore Monterrey, Nuevo Leon and all of Mexico! I am excited to have joined the ASFM community and I am looking forward to a wonderful year supporting the Grade 8s!

Ms. Tania Tiquet G6

Hi! I'm Tania Tiquet, ASFM's MS Counselor for grade 6. This is my thirteenth year at ASFM and my ninth year as a counselor. I'm a proud ASFM alumna and a proud regia! Monterrey has always been my hometown and it's amazing mountains have a special place in my heart. I love spending my free time with my family, with my husband and two boys. We usually like to relax at home watching movies, reading books or taking Leo, our dog, out for a walk.  I'm lucky to have found my true calling as an educator and find it a pure joy in what I do every single day which is creating a genuine connection with my students.
