Welcome to our middle school Activities Team, a dynamic group of educators who inspire and foster curiosity in students through Music, Choir, Art, Drama, Physical Education, and Human Development classes. With sessions occurring once to twice per week, covering all four grades, our team offers a blend of electives and a mandatory curriculum designed to develop diverse skills and talents. From exploring the universal language of Music to fostering creative expression in Art and Drama, promoting Physical well-being and teamwork in PE, and exploring personal growth and social-emotional learning in Human Development, our teachers engage students in fun and enriching experiences that empower them to thrive academically, creatively, and personally. As part of this group of disciplines, Technology class is an opportunity for our students to dive into the world of digital innovation. Throughout the four grades, this class takes place for two weeks every quarter, through engaging projects and units, this course equips students with essential skills for the digital age. Beyond technical proficiency, students cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-directed learning, preparing them for success in any field.
Spanish as a Second Language is a course designed to support non-Spanish speaking students in acclimating to our bicultural environment, this class provides a nurturing space for language acquisition and cultural understanding. As students progress, they gain the skills and confidence to gradually transition into our Mexican Program, embracing the richness of language and heritage.
Additionally, our team includes support staff such as Substitute Teachers, and Science Lab Assistants, all working together to provide comprehensive educational support.
