Akira Yamamoto is an expert in biomimetic materials. Acquired broad hands-on skill sets in developing concepts to delivering products for over two decades in academia and industry. Akira has invented more than 39 granted patents as a primary inventor, and published over 20 peer-reviewed research articles. Akira received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Shinshu University in Japan in Materials Science. Prior to coming to ASDRP, Akira has worked at Stanford Research Institute (SRI) and HOYA corporation in Japan.
