About: Zane received his MD in China, PhD at Oregon Health Science University in Biochemistry in 2009 (Thesis: Regulation of carnitine palmitoyltransferase I gene expression in vivo), and from 2009-2012 was a post-doctoral research fellow at OHSU. He will be launching his independent research group at ASDRP this summer/fall with his expertise in enzymology, molecular diagnostics, protein biochemistry, and drug discovery. Zane's most recent work in industry included advancing an IL-15 fusion protein into FDA Phase I clinical trials for the treatment of human cancers.
