At UC San Francisco, he dedicated three years to research on dopamine metabolism and Nurr1 in Parkinson's Disease. His research also included work on ML-355, a 12-lipoxygenase inhibitor now in Phase II trials for Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia. At UC San Diego School of Medicine, he performed basic science research on Class A GPCRs using pharmacologic assays and later delved into clinical research on psychotic disorders. In his free time, Harman likes to play chess and exercise.
