2026-2027 Important Dates & Information:

Case release! October 1, 2026: Team must be registered to receive case materials.

Coaches' Meeting (for Returning Coaches)/Rule Updates/Q&A: Zoom session, October 8, 2026  (6:00-7:00 pm-- strongly advised!)  Must have at least one registered team to attend. 

Invitational: December 12-13 @ Academy for Science and Design, 9 Townsend West, Nashua, NH  (Registration $200* per team; $20/individual for Courtroom Artists' program: Deadline Nov. 12th, 2026)

State Tournament: February 6-7 @ UNH Law School, Concord NH (Registration $200* per team; $20/individual for Courtroom Artists' program:Deadline January 15th, 2027)

State Finals:February 11th (evening) @ UNH Law School, Concord NH

Alternative Snow Dates: February 13-14; State Finals February 18th, 2027

National Tournament: May 13-15, 2026 @ St. Louis, Missouri 

*All registration fees are non-refundable.  

Team Composition and Size:

A team must consist of a minimum of six (6) students and a maximum of eleven (11) students. In each trial round, three members will serve as attorneys, three as witnesses, and the seventh member, if available, will serve as the timekeeper. If a team only has six members, two or more of the witnesses must also serve as timekeepers (Rule 3.3).

Students must be enrolled in grades 9-12 for the 2026-2027 academic year. 

Each registered team must be associated with a public or private New Hampshire School or Home School Program and have an adult advisor (either parent/guardian or school employee). It is also recommended that each team partner with a legal professional for guidance and advice as they prepare their case.

Schools may choose to send more than one team to the Invitational Tournament and/or the State Tournament.

Registration fee for a school Mock Trial team is $200 per team, per tournament.

Registration fee for an individual student to participate in the Courtroom Artist Program is $20 per student, per tournament.
