Anxiety and Wellness

This is a very stressful time for everyone right now, and most of us are feeling some amount of anxiety. Anxiety is the mind and body's reaction to stressful, dangerous, or unfamiliar situations. It's the sense of uneasiness, distress, or dread you feel before a significant event or when dealing with something unexpected or unknown.

Try and focus on the things you have control of. Breathe, exercise, talk, whatever it takes to help you feel more at peace. Strategies like 5,4,3,2,1 are often very helpful when things feel out of control. I've included several strategies for helping to ease anxiety below, please check them out! :)
