I am a third-generation, born-and-raised Alaska girl. I graduated from Palmer High School and continued on to the University of Georgia, where I received an undergraduate degree in marketing and interpersonal communications (Go Dawgs!). When I moved back home to Alaska, I decided to enroll in Alaska Pacific University's Co-Op Teaching Program to receive my teaching certificate and plan to complete my master's degree at APU as well. I met my husband, Harley, while we were both working on the Alaska Railroad in 2013 and we got married in 2020. The two of us have lots of fun together and are proud puppy parents to our sweet Tipper girl. We love living in Alaska and try to get out to explore this great state as often as we can!
Working as a fourth grade teacher at Aquarian is a dream come true. I am so excited for this school year!
