Hello Everyone! Just a little bit of information about me. I am originally from Kansas, but have been in Alaska going on 30 years now. I have lived all over this great state from Barrow all the way to Southeast in Hydaburg with a few places in between. I currently live in the Valley with my husband and two grown children.

I have worked in education for about 15 years as a Certified Teacher and Certified School Counselor. This is my third year with the Anchorage School District. I worked in the Mat-Su School District before coming to ASD. Prior to working in education, I worked as a counselor in the mental health field with children diagnosed with severe emotional/behavioral disorders. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Alaska.

The first picture is me with my husband and two children and all of our dogs: (from left to right-Kenobi, Zephyr, Maximus, and Bruce) Not pictured is our black cat who rules over all the dogs, lol! The other picture is me with my husband with the hammerhead shark we caught while fishing in Mexico. We love all outdoor activities: hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, etc. We are also huge hockey fans.

If you need to talk with me, email works best. Below is my contact information. You can also fill out the Check-in with Mrs. H form below. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon! Mrs. H :-)
