If you purchase $35 or more AP credit before picture day you will receive free shipping on your package order. If you would like your child to take an individual picture please either purchase AP credit at least 12 hours before picture day or instruct your athlete to get in line for an individual picture. Paperwork needed to participate in girls softball includes: a participation form, and a physical. Paperwork is available from the Mears Sports website and can be downloaded from the district's webpage at : ASD Sports
Baseball is managed by the Alaska American Legion: https://www.alaskalegionbaseball.com/
There is an activity fee of $110.00 for baseball.

"2025 Mears Middle School Baseball
Practice Begins: Tuesday, August 19th (4:15pm-5:45pm) and each day after school for the first two weeks. Then the practice schedule will be up to the coaches.
Season Dates:
Aug. 19 First Practice
Aug. 23 First Jamboree (counts as a practice)
Aug. 30 2nd Jamboree (counts as a practice)
Sep. 6 Official Games
Sept. 13 Official Games
Sept. 20 Official Games
Sept. 27 Final Day of Games
Games: Played at Kosinski fields and occasionally Mulcahy Stadium. It is the goal to get each team at least one game at Mulcahy.
*No players will be cut...each player that signed up will be on a team.
