Interested in incorporating more creativity into your daily or weekly routine? Would you like to learn how to nature journal or use a typewriter for letter writing and poetry? Looking to join a community of fellow creatives, artists, poets and writers? Then join us at one (or all) of the creativity workshops to develop practices that relieve stress, bring joy, and help cultivate a creative life.
Who: The Anchorage Community (children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult).
Cost: $20 to cover supplies. Proceeds to benefit the Goldenview Creative Guild.

Setting up your art kit, winter color palettes, resources, tips & tricks.
Incorporating a typewriter into your creative practice and typewriter basics.
Creating a visual representation of annual nature and/or family cycles.
Using writing, sketches, quotes, poetry, and other forms of creativity to capture daily musings, happenings, gratitude, and reflections.
Different ways to capture stories and observations from your travels, from using a traveling typewriter, Polaroid printers, pocket journals, and handmade sketchbooks.
Simple book binding techniques, followed by making a small book for musings, gratitude, lists, or sketches.
For GVMS students in grades 7 and 8
For Anchorage students ages 14 and up interested in outdoor science. Upon completion, students earn a 1/2 high school science credit. Click here for more information!
