Explora - An interface designed for grades 6-12 and search results filtered for a middle and high school audience.
Biography Reference Center - Thousands of reliable full-text biographies, including the complete full text of Biography Today and Biography, plus narrative biographies not available in other databases. In addition to keyword search, users can locate biographies by subject occupation, nationality, activity, gender, lifespan and more.

This tool is available through the Anchorage Public Library, and for most ASD students your 14 digit library ID doubles as a public library card number. Directions for how to access your library card number in Q here. The PIN is the last four digits.
The Teen Underground - A refuge for teens 12-18, acting as a safe place to work on homework, attend teen programs, utilize Chromebooks , access free Wi-fi, use board games, read, and socialize with friends in a safe environment. Teens from all over Anchorage utilize the space and benefit from its existence.
World Book Online - Online research tools that includes encyclopedia articles, primary source collections, educator tools, student activities, educational games, pictures, audio, and video, complemented by current periodicals and related web sites. ASD pays for a subscription. Access via Clever.
