In Middle School, I believe it's important for students to take ownership over their education. Understanding how they each learn and what accommodations they need to be successful is key to success in life later on. If your student has an IEP, they will be part of the process of developing their annual IEP (Individual Education Plan) which includes goals, data collection and running their annual meetings.
