MTSS and Intervention with Google

We all want to do what is best for our students! Sometimes it can feel like quite a chore! At Rampart High School we are trying our hand at using Google Classroom and Google Sites (et al.) to collect and organize data for MTSS and Intervention classes.
We want to make the process of referring students to the Student Success Team as efficient and seamless as possible while giving teachers the ability to easily communicate with each other about that student. We also want to give students in Intervention classes the ability to easily sign in and out of class and check their emotional well being for the day while collecting and organizing data for our amazing new program!
Our session will explain the basics of Google Classroom and Google Sites as well as how we use them to support our staff and students!
*You will get something out of this session no matter what subject you teach!
**Please bring a device to this interactive session! We'll be using Pear Deck!!

My name is Kimberly Pursur. I am the Director of the Ram Village Academic Support Center (an online school within a school) and Facilitator of the Student Success Team at Rampart High School in Colorado Springs. I have spent the last 20+ years as a Preschool-High School teacher and administrator. I have discovered that kids are kids no matter what age they are! I now spend my time supporting at risk students in a blended learning program and serve as the leader of our Student Success Team – using Google as the format for our collaboration to support students through the MTSS process.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my three daughters and our dog, Willow. I also enjoy doing all things old school – gardening, crafting, canning, cooking, and reading. I am always trying out new recipes on family and friends – especially some good-ol’ Tex-Mex!
