Hello, everyone! I teach 7th Grade Science at Belton Middle School. I began teaching in February of 2021. Prior to teaching, I worked for Michelin for eight years. Over the course of my career at Michelin, I was a chemist, senior chemist, and Regional Communication Manager. You may wonder how someone transitions from chemistry to communications, and I hope to help answer that question for you! I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Lander University in 2012. I have always enjoyed Science but really enjoyed working with people and fulfilling a position with more of a social aspect was a goal I set for myself. Fortunately, Michelin gave me the opportunity to transition into a communications role and I really enjoyed it. However, I have always wanted to make a positive impact on our future generation and that is what I hope to do throughout my teaching career.
