Homework
Students will be assigned Additional Practices as homework weekly. Students will receive them when necessary. Students will have two days to complete each additional practice. I will give students time in class to work on them.
Classroom Rules and Procedures
Students will not talk while the teacher is talking.
Students will not get out of their seats for anything unless they raise their hand and ask the teacher first.
Students will arrive at class on time. If they arrive late, they will not be allowed in without a hall pass.
Students will not destroy or ruin any of the things the teacher allows them to use in their classroom.
Students will come to school ready to learn every day - even if this is the last place they want to be.
Retake Policy
Students will have the opportunity to retake two tests every nine weeks. Their retake tests must be completed within two weeks of the original test date.
In order for students to get a retake test, they must show a corrective action (this could be a review packet, IXL Lessons, a worksheet, attending Morning Minutes - up to teacher’s discretion) before they are allowed to retake the test.
Grading Scale
Major Assessments = 45% of total grade
Quizzes = 30% of total grade
Classwork/Participation = 25% of total grade
Letter Scale
A = 100-90
B = 89-80
C = 79-70
D = 69-60
F = 59-0
