Welcome to Room 504

Hello! My name is Kerry Anderson. I’ve lived in Belton most of my life and am a proud graduate of BHP. Go Bears! With degrees in Early Elementary and Elementary Education from Clemson University, I am entering my 21st year of teaching. I'm excited to be a part of the cohort of educators currently pursuing National Board Certification.

When I’m not at school, you can find me shopping at TJMaxx, reading, or exploring small towns.

I am quite blessed to have spent twenty years teaching reading to first, fourth, and fifth grades.

My philosophy in the classroom can be described as The Four R's: Relationships, Rigor, Reflection, and Reward. When we focus on being intentional about building strong relationships while delivering rigorous instruction followed by reflection, we put ourselves on the path to great rewards in growth and learning!

I'm believing that the 21.22 school year will be the best YET!
