Meet The Teacher

My name is Katie Morgan. I was born and raised in Belton, SC. I went to Belton schools and graduated from BHP in 2016. I spent my next four years in the quiet town of Due West at Erskine College. During my time in the Erskine Education Department I completed practicums at Belton Elementary, Cherokee Trail Elementary, Westwood Elementary, and  Crescent High School. I knew when I finished college I knew I wanted to go back to the place where my love for special education started at Anderson School District Two. I began my teaching career at Honea Path Elementary, but moved to BHP my second year of teaching. This year will be my fifth year teaching and fourth year at BHP. 

I am married to my best friend, Baylon. We enjoy taking trips to Dollywood and the beach. We love spending time with our nephews Jackson and Tucker. We have three pets including Skeeter, Nova, and Lilly. 

I am starting school again this fall to complete my Masters Degree in Diversity. I will be attending Lander University.
