Learning Objectives for the week of  Tuesday, February 20th-Monday, February 26th.   

In ELA, students will be able to blend, spell, and read words that contain /o/spelled o, o_e, _oe, oa_, and _ow. 

In math, students be starting place value. 

*Read 20 minutes every day. CHECK OUT THE NEW APP-EPIC! Epic Class Code is REB1583

*Write in your journal every day.  Make sure your picture matches your words. Your picture should have three details and three colors.  Our goal is to write three sentences.  

Starting next month, I will be giving students a 1, 2, 3, or 4 on their journal writing entires. 

Student will be given a four if the following criteria is met:

*Sudent wrote three or more sentences. 

*Sentences have correct grammar and punctuation. Use writing checklist! 

*Picture is detailed, with three or more colors.  

*Student will use their best handwriting. 

One point will be subtracted for each standard not met. 

*My Path iReady lessons -complete 15 minutes of math and 15 minutes of reading every home learning day. This means you should spend 30 minutes of reading and 30 minutes of math per home learning week!  

 *ELA-Skills practice pages are included in home learning folders.

*Open Court reading assignments on iPads via Clever and McGraw Hill.
