PTA Highlights
Our major focus throughout the year is to increase support for student service
learning projects and to better disperse PTA support across the ASD community in addition to providing end of year project funding. We are always invested into expanding these efforts with exciting new PTA initiatives!
The PTA would not be able to accomplish its aim without the help of our fabulous
parent, teacher, and staff community. Over the past year, PTA funds have contributed towards:
The PTA also funds various other end-of-year projects requested by individual school divisions, throughout the course of the year.

The PTA would like to thank sponsors, volunteers and festival attendees for making it such a successful day. All proceeds raised by the PTA will go back into the school in the form of wish list funding. Stay tuned to see what is wished for!

Our International Buffet is always a success and we are hopeful we can continue this year. So much food, wonderful volunteers and all attendees enjoy it all! Many thanks to our International Buffet chair for organizing another great event! And an even bigger thanks to every single one of YOU who donated food, volunteered or otherwise helped make this day the success it was. Each year the PTA organizes a Dinner Dance, giving parents and ASD staff an opportunity to meet in an informal and fun way. The event theme varies each year and is very popular, selling out quickly.

The annual PTA Elementary School Book Fair was a success, putting hundreds of books into the hands of our students. Thank you to our Book Fair Chair Jessica Riddle and Hala Al Qudah for a well run event.

We are looking forward to hosting our annual PTA Community Activities night. Thank you to all of the businesses, organizations, faculty/staff and families who attended. We are looking forward to hosting our annual Welcome Back Coffee this year! We hope to have all parent groups attend and allow for new and returning parents to learn about the opportunities available to them at school.
