Mrs.Hammer is from Grimes County and has lived here for a long time. She went to Navasota High School and was a cheerleader. She teaches 1st grade at Anderson-Shiro Elementary and loves being with students. A challenge that helped her grow stems from when she was little. She actually taught at a big school, but she didn't know anyone, so she started teaching in Anderson where she knows more people she loves. Some of her hobbies are fishing, hunting, and showing goats. She also likes running in the morning, and because of that, every year she hosts a running club.
