Calculating Progress Report and Report Card Averages

Grades PK-3: No weight will be assigned in reporting student progress. Authentic assessments will aide in determining whether a student has met standard or improvement is needed.

Late Assignments/Late Work

Grades PK-3: No work is considered late if submitted within a week of the assignment date.

Extenuating circumstances will be considered for late Academic Achievement.

Makeup Work Assignments

Grades PK-5: For any work missed, the teacher may assign the student makeup work based on the instructional objectives for the subject or course and the needs of the individual student in mastering the essential knowledge and skills or in meeting subject or course requirements.

A student will be responsible for obtaining and completing the makeup work in a satisfactory manner and within the same amount of days the student was absent plus one day. [EIAB(LOCAL).
