Library Goal
The mission of the Anderson-Shiro Elementary School Library is to ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information. The library strives to provide the school students, staff and community with a wide range of materials. The library seeks to provide access to a variety of interesting and current materials on appropriate levels of difficulty that will encourage growth in knowledge, establish a life-long love of reading, and foster information literacy. The library is eager to be an extension of classroom learning where students and teachers have access to materials and resources beyond the classroom walls.
About Mrs. Parrott
My name is Jennifer Parrott. I am a mother of 2, and a wife of 26 years. My oldest graduated from Navasota and is now married, and my youngest is attending Blinn College and is married. My hobbies outside of school are crocheting new creations and having new adventures. I love to serve the Lord, and am very active at Anderson Baptist Church. I have began a journey serving through missionary trips to Honduras and Washington. This has been an awesome experience which I plan to continue for many years to come.
