ABOUT ME

My name is Tamra Spykstra. I received a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Hastings College and a M.A. from the University of Nebraska in Educational Psychology and Counseling. My journey into classical education began over 20 years ago as I sought to educate my own children in a way that fostered both a love of learning and an ability to think clearly and deeply.  It led me into the classroom setting where I have served in both grammar classrooms and upper school science settings.  Teaching is an incredibly fulfilling career. I love working with students to instill wonder and confidence in the sciences.  

WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO

I am excited to be a part of a team of like minded professionals that are growing together as a community.  After 25 years away from Colorado , I am so grateful to be "home" again, and doing what I love.
