Assigned Homework
Major Assignment Name
Assignment Description:
Example: Students will work self-selected groups to create a presentation on various texts from the Renaissance and Reformation periods. Students received their copies of the text in class the week before Spring Break. A rubric for the required presentation information is below; students will research their text's author to give biographical information, historical context, and greater impact of the text/author. Students should primarily use the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy for their secondary research, though they are welcome to use other sources upon approval. If students have access to the necessary technology, they should produce a slideshow (preferably Google Slides, but other formats are acceptable), which they will need to email to Mr. Laminack prior to their presentation date (listed below). If students lack access to technology, they can produce a poster-board in lieu of a slideshow.
