ABOUT ME

I absolutely love the natural world and sharing its beauty with others!  I have a degree in zoology with a minor in chemistry from Northern Arizona University.  During college I spent a summer in South Africa volunteering at a reserve and getting to see the magnificent savannah diversity.  Shortly after graduating I started working at Out of Africa Wildlife Park in Arizona.  I worked there for over 14 years and was the manager of the hoofstock (rhinos, giraffes, zebras, antelope, etc.) department when I left.   I moved to Colorado in 2021 with my husband and two beautiful daughters and we are loving this beautiful area we live in!
