Homework Expectations:
Please expect about half an hour of homework each night. 20 minutes of this will be reading and a reading log to complete. The other 10 minutes will typically consist of math and will come home in a packet to be completed during the week and returned the following Monday. I also highly encourage consistent math fact practice at home! I am happy to provide resources for that and there are a couple of online program that are free and track student progress that I can recommend.

Your student will be bringing home a reading log and math packet on the first day of each week. Please return this completed for a scholarship grade next Monday.

Reading log: Please read at least 20 minutes per night and complete the reading log. Please return the following Monday.
Math packet: Please complete this packet on a schedule that works well for your family (this could be done a little each evening or all in one or two sittings) and returned the following Monday.
