Greetings Families!

My name is Ms.Davis, and I am so excited to be partnering with you in your child’s education this school year.

I was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. I attended Colorado State University, and majored in Early Childhood Education. I like to say the ram roots run really deep in my family as there are almost thirty of us who went to CSU if you count both of my parents extended family, and Bob Davis hall in Moby arena is named after my great grandfather!

When I'm not teaching you can usually find me reading, watching a movie, going for a walk, shopping, or spending time with friends and family. Growing up I played soccer for about ten years, and still love the sport even though I haven't played for a long time.

Prior to joining Ascent, I was in the preschool setting for three and a half years. I was also a Kindergarten paraprofessional. Young children have always had my heart. Their love of learning, curiosity, and general excitement about life are truly infectious. Being apart of these early foundational years is an absolute honor.

I feel so privileged to be a teacher at Ascent. The goal of training the minds and improving the hearts of young people is an admirable one. I also greatly appreciate the strong emphasis on the seven virtues as this is what will prepare students to be difference makers and competent citizens in both our society and the world at large.

Educational Philosophy

My philosophy is that education should be a collaboration and partnership among parents, administration, students, and teachers. It is my opinion that when these groups work closely together toward a common goal that education can be wonderful for all involved. No school will ever do this perfectly of course, but there is a notable difference when everyone is working together to ensure that school safe and welcoming place to learn and grow.
