Hello! My name is Lindsey Steltenpohl. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University Southeast in 2019. I obtained my Master's degree in Elementary Education in 2023. This will be my 8th year teaching. I taught in BCPS for 5 years prior to coming to Ascension. I have taught 1st-3rd grade. I am excited to teach second grade again this year! 

My husband and I have been married for 5 years! We just had our son, James, in April and we have a black lab named Lucy! 

Hello there! My name is Emilie Balthrop. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and in Learning & Behavior Disorders from Bellarmine University. I taught first grade at Ascension last school year and am so excited to be moving up to second grade. As an Ascension graduate myself I am so happy to continue calling Ascension home. 

I spent this summer working at Ascension's summer camp, going to the lake, and purchasing my first condo. 

I am so excited to help students learn and grow this school year. 

Hi! My name is Kathy Tudor. I am the 2nd Grade Assistant and I’m really looking forward to spending this school year with you! I can’t wait to see how much growth and learning takes place in our time together. I have been working in education since 2006 and much of that time was spent teaching pre-K. In 2021 I was blessed to join the Ascension family. I have been both a 1st and 2nd grade assistant in my time at Ascension. 

My husband, Mike, and I have two grown children, Emily and Logan, and a Goldendoodle named Luna. When I’m not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, reading, cooking and volunteering in the children’s ministry at my church.
