Inquiry and Play

January 15th & 16th and March 4th & 5th

About this Conference

Playful learning enriches our capacity to make meaning of experiences and learn together. By developing a playful stance, we welcome and inspire curiosity, imagination, connection, and wonder. Join us for an interactive exploration of playful inquiry where we will dive into materials, resources, and experiences that will help us grow and reflect on our role as educators of and co-collaborators with young children. We will explore the importance of having a strong image of the child, the value of play, and the potential of inspiring environments filled with rich materials. We will examine play as a powerful learning strategy as we practice using provocations and protocols, as well as our own time to play. Come see what happens when we not only put play and inquiry at the heart of our practice but also see our youngest learners as important members of society with meaningful ideas to share with the world.
