I created a 3 point-perspective building in digital art. This building was in bird's eye point of view, which was my first time doing so.
I made this project because I wanted to have a greater understanding in digital art. Through drawing this 3 point perspective view of a building I also learned how architects use POV to draw their lines and buildings.
I created my project through Krita, an app that's free and it's specially made for digital painting, comics, animations, etc. Through the use of layers and color wheels, I made lines for my building as well as colored it appropriately.
I found out that architecture wasn't as hard as I thought, however it requires a lot of attention. I think it was a good overview on how architects would draw their buildings outside and it made me learn how they use POV to angle their 3D buildings.
This project allowed me to see and experience different career paths for the future. This is a good thing because I am troubled by what I want to do (p.s. definitely not architecture, for now XD). Not only that, but I also learned how to draw more efficiently in Krita and how to use its tools to my advantage.
For next time, I would like to add more scenery. I feel like my drawing needed more buildings so I would like to draw a city if possible (just for the experience).
I watched the tutorial of the youtube channel, Circle Line Art School for their 3 point perspective building.
I would also like to thank Mrs. Mabel because she assigned this project to us and provided the tutorial too.
This is another excellent demonstration of your digital art abilities and completely different than your other piece. Like your other drawing, I wonder if adding trees or plants to the foreground could better distinguish the dimensions. Still, this is another exemplary piece of art. Well done!
