This three-point perspective project was inspired on the topic of environmental health. It represents the life we take away from the Earth (the trees, in this case), and how we project it and use it in buildings and "pretty things," such as the colorful building in the picture.
We only have an Earth, and that means that we only got one chance to change our ways and save it. It was a second objective of mine to relate this to a world problem, apart from the principal one, which was submitting a superb product for my art class.
I used grey and black colors closer to the ground, showing the transfer of energy from the top of the trees to the bottom, and back into the building. The top of the trees is white because, like a pale person, they are lacking energy. I also used blending of two colors in every wall on the building.
The end result of this project was good, it made me aware of different ways of channeling information and learning how to convey it without being misinterpreted. I liked that it was a new way of representing problems and making people aware of them.
This project's looks are the classic "that's so deep" approach. It has a double meaning, which makes the work more complex and aesthetic.
I plan to make a 3-D model of this same project. I would like to use the same combinations of colors as well.

I absolutely love the inspiration behind this artwork! It brings a bit of sadness that we have been taking away so much from the Earth and investing so much "happiness" into artifical things. At the same time, it is inspiring to me because it sheds light on that sadness and makes you feel that we should be doing more to preserve and protect the Earth because like you said, it is the only planet we have right now and it truly is a beautiful place.
