I wanted to create a different way to produce light by connecting a light bulb to a battery as well try a new way to test battery.
The electricity goes off a lot in Paraguay and when it happens having another light source. If you want to read a book or do homework, when there isn't any light, you can use my invention.
I made it my connecting a light bulb to a battery with a paperclip. All these items I found in my house.
At first it didn't work because I was using a light bulb that required too much voltage and I didn't have a battery with enough power. So, I got a different light bulb with lower voltage and it worked.
My results are important because I now understand that some light bulbs require a lot of power to make them light. I also learned that batteries tell you how much voltage they can produce and that you can use more than one to get enough power to light a bulb.
I could use two light bulbs to make a parallel circuit. A parallel circuit is when you connect one battery to two light bulbs with makes a dimmer light. I could also use a light bulb with high voltage requiring me to use more batteries.

This project has a really nice method of testing and finding results that work. Excellent problem solving! What else could you test next year?
