ASA 2021 ONLINE STEAM EXPO

PROJECT SUMMARY

This project Is a tornado in a jar. So I basically combine lots of ingredients to make a tornado inside a jar.

WHY?

I chose this project because it was under 5 minutes but over one minute. It was also not so hard and not so easy.

HOW?

I created this project by combining vinegar, dish soap, food coloring and cold water. I had to add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and dish soap.

WHAT?

I really liked doing this project. The results were great, and very similar to all the pictures that I saw in google. I didn’t think it was gonna turn out that great

SO WHAT?

I learned that the dish soap and the vinegar did most of the job. They helped get it all together and make bubbles.

WHAT'S NEXT?

I think next time I could do it on a more square shaped jar. It said I had to do it on a round jar and I don’t know why, so maybe I could find out why.

I got this idea from google. I changed from white vinegar to the apple vinegar and both work the exact same way.

This project seemed really fun and educational. You were able to make use of household ingredients and successfully conduct your own home experiments! While you do mention success in creating a tornado, perhaps adding a video of your results could have further enhanced your presentation.
