I created a video out of my live photos from this summer. I had to edit each picture by one, add filters and music in order to get it the way I wanted.
I created this video as my last happy memory before the Coronavirus happened, the moment I'm reminiscing the most. There was no problem or answer I was trying to find, just for fun.
I created this project with live pictures, different apps in order to add music and extract the videos out of the pictures and add filters. Finally I used iMovie to add them all together and uploaded the video to Tik Tok.
I found out that making videos out of pictures are actually a thing. My video turned out just how I wanted, the music goes with the feeling of reminiscing summer and the filters gives it a vintage look. The video got 3500 views on Tik Tok.
This submission included a video which did not meet our requirements for personal identity protection
The results are important because it shows that people like this kind of content on Tik Tok, the amount of views, comments and likes shows that these videos are something new and cool.
Something I could've done differently is showing just a little about Uruguay on my video, since it was where my summer vacation took place. Instead of focusing too much on my private life and friends I could've added more videos from the city and beach.
I got my idea from our Digital Design class where we have to present something new each week, I decided to try out doing this live picture video for one of our projects. When I downloaded the app Prequel in order to edit pictures, It gave me the option to take out a video from my live pictures, and this is where my idea t create this video came from.
The photo presented has captured the light illuminating the subject in a powerful and vivid way, in addition to showing the wide depth of field involved in the darker handrail in the foreground to the staggered architecture of the white stuccoed building. Including screenshots of how to actually create the video took this from a presentation to an instructional project which can help other students to learn how to do it. I would have loved to have seen the other architectural details you captured based on the power of the first image.
