I did a project that is about Roman salt-works and how they evaporated salt water from the Tyrrenhian Sea. Also the history of salt and Rome.
I was trying to show how you can evaporate salt water to get salt. Also show how this method was very effective in the old days.
I used salt water and a measuring glass. I put it in the sun to evaporate.
The salt water evaporates when you put it in the sun. What was left was salt in the glass. This is how Rome did it.
I learned that Rome had different ways of fighting in war by using salt to destroy crops. I also learned methods of getting salt are thousands of years old.
The next steps are more research with salt works around the world. Also to see other ways salt was important to the Romans.

We love how you used a combination of green screen, costume changes and iMovie editing to convey your learning in a humorous and interesting way! The slow-mo to highlight how much salt you were able to get was epic! You might want to consider doing a zoom (Ken Burns effect) and potentially a sound effect(s) there to really emphasize it.
For future videos, we suggest checking the legibility of the text: specifically, make sure the text in the titles doesn't go off the screen and that the text color isn't too close in color to the background.
