ART SHOW 2021

Navigating Adversity through art.

ART AT ASA.

During 2020-2021 the students were in virtual art classes due to the pandemic. Even though they showed resilience and patient to do their best and to express their feeling and creativity through their artworks.

At ASA, art's purpose is to teach the basics of art theory, expose the students to art history and his movements, know a wide variety of media, and dedicate part of their time to enjoy the creative act.

In art, students learn how to work with the elements of art, with the design principles and the history of art to develop ideas for experimentation and growth.

Adjusting to the new changes in the world, students approached art with computers, tablets, and special apps for drawing, painting, and video techniques during all this long period of virtual classes.

This art exhibit brings traditional works and a new series of videos doing with Stop Motion Animation and Canva.com., and an especially significant project developed with Social Studies and STEAM with the concept "Share ideas to improve life in your neighborhood". The students did a project on paper and transformed it into three-dimensional pieces using TinkerCad.

It is a pleasure to present this webpage with over seven hundred artworks of High School and Middle School. I hope you enjoy them.
