Lesson Study Purpose

This lesson study will focus on NGSS Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs). The participating teachers will be a group of teacher leaders who will create, teach, and present to colleagues a 5E NGSS-aligned lesson. Lesson Study is a process that focuses on student response to a collaboratively created lesson, it is non-evaluative of the teacher. Materials for the lesson will be provided and teacher time will be compensated.
