This Privacy Policy explains how Arupmt ("we") handles information in the mobile application "torima-toss" ("the App"), available for iOS and Android.
The App uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements so that the App can be offered free of charge. For ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, AdMob automatically collects and transmits the following to Google:
IP address (which may be used to estimate your approximate location)
Device information such as device model and OS version
Interaction data such as ad impressions, taps, and app launches
Diagnostic information such as app launch time
Advertising ID and App Set ID (Android only), the advertising identifier (IDFA, iOS only, and only if you allow tracking), and Identifier for Vendors (IDFV, iOS only)
On iOS, the App asks for your permission to track through the App Tracking Transparency prompt when you first launch it. Only if you allow it is your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) used to show you more relevant ads and to measure ad performance. If you do not allow it, the IDFA is not used. See section 6 to change this later.
On Android, your device's Advertising ID is used for ad delivery. See section 6 to opt out.
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to analyze usage and improve its features. Firebase Analytics automatically collects and transmits the following to Google:
App instance ID, Advertising ID (Android only), the advertising identifier (IDFA, iOS only, and only if you allow tracking), and Identifier for Vendors (IDFV, iOS only)
Usage data such as screen views and sessions
The following information about how you use the App:
Adding items (type [text, URL, or image], number of tags attached, and whether the item was added in the App or shared from another app)
Creating boards, and the number of items moved to a board
The approximate number of items, boards, and tags you have saved (as ranges such as "11–50")
How often you reach a creation limit, and the outcome of rewarded ads
Device information such as device model and OS version
Approximate location (city level) derived from your IP address (the IP address itself is not stored)
We never transmit the content you enter or save, such as item text, URLs, images, board names, or tag names.
The App also uses Google Firebase Remote Config to deliver configuration values (such as the board creation limit). In doing so, a per-installation identifier (Firebase Installation ID) is transmitted to Google.
The App stores the following on your device. This information is never transmitted to our servers or any external destination, and we have no ability to access it.
Items you save (text, URLs, and images)
Text and URLs received through the "Share" feature of other apps
Boards, tags, and their settings
The number of extra board slots earned by watching ads
Your advertising consent status
Images are copied into the App only when you select them in your device's photo picker. The App never accesses your entire photo or video library.
Information in 1.1: to deliver advertisements, measure their effectiveness, and prevent fraud
Information in 1.2: to analyze usage, improve features, and deliver configuration values
Information in 1.3: to provide the App's core features of saving and organizing items, and to retain your settings
We do not disclose the on-device information described in 1.3 to any third party.
The information described in 1.1 and 1.2 is provided to Google as our advertising and analytics provider. The information in 1.1 may be provided through Google to its advertising partners for ad delivery. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy.
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses information in advertising: https://policies.google.com/technology/ads
Firebase Privacy and Security: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
The App's network communication is limited to the following:
Communication with Google AdMob for advertising
Communication with Firebase (Google) for analytics and configuration delivery
We operate no servers of our own and perform no other external transmission. All communication is encrypted (HTTPS). When you open a saved URL, the page opens in your device's browser or another external app.
In regions where consent is required by law, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and regulated U.S. states, the App asks for your consent to the use of information for advertising when you first launch it. You can change your choice at any time from "Privacy settings" on the home screen.
You can opt out of personalized advertising based on your advertising identifiers from your device settings:
Android
Settings → Privacy (or Google) → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID"
iOS
If you choose "Ask App Not to Track" in the prompt shown at first launch, the IDFA is not used. To change your choice later, do either of the following:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off "torima-toss"
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" (applies to all apps)
Personalization of ads delivered by Apple can be turned off here:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off "Personalized Ads"
The information in 1.2 is automatically deleted after a set period according to Google Analytics' data retention settings. The information in 1.1 and 1.2 is not linked to your name or other identifying details, so we cannot identify and delete a specific user's information. You can stop the use of, or reset, your advertising identifiers by following the steps in section 6.
Removing the App from your device permanently erases all on-device information described in 1.3.
iOS: "Delete App" from the Home Screen or App Library
Android: uninstall the App, or clear the App's storage from your device settings
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Android
Permission and purpose
Internet access
Retrieving ads, sending analytics data, and fetching configuration values
Network state
Checking connectivity
Advertising ID (AD_ID)
Advertising delivery and analytics (used by Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics)
Install Referrer
Measuring how the App was installed (used by Firebase Analytics)
Wake lock, foreground service, and advertising services (Privacy Sandbox) access
Added automatically by the Google AdMob and Firebase libraries to load and measure ads
The App uses your device's photo picker (Photo Picker) to select images, so it does not request photo or storage access permissions.
iOS
Tracking (App Tracking Transparency)
To show you more relevant ads. All features of the App remain available if you do not allow it
No separate permission is required for internet access. Because images are selected through your device's photo picker, the App does not request photo library access.
We may revise this Policy in response to legal changes or changes to the App's functionality. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and, for material changes, notify you within the App.
For questions about this Policy or our handling of information, please contact:
