OFFICIAL SHIPPING PARTNERS | Helutrans, Lotus, Eythos
S.E.A Focus will be working with 3 Official Shipping Partners: Helutrans, Lotus, Eythos. Please find more information on each shipper below, as well as their contact information.
Helutrans established in 1979, stand at the forefront of art handling, shipping, and storage services in Asia, are pioneers in the industry with offices based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Yogyakarta. One of the key highlights of their services is suspended GST on temporary imports. This is possible via the Zero-GST Licensing Warehouse administered by the Singapore Customs, also known as a Bonded Warehouse. With their Bonded Warehouse services, exhibitors can import their artworks directly into their bonded facilities without paying any upfront GST for an indefinite period. The artworks are allowed to be transferred out to the approved venue (such as ART SG at Marina Bay Sands) upon the Custom’s approval. Exhibitors will only pay import GST when the artworks are removed from Helutrans’ bonded warehouse for LOCAL purchase.
For any questions or if you wish to use their services please contact: info-artsg@helutrans.com.
Lotus specializes in the packing, handling, transport, storage, and installation of fine arts, with offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. All shipments will be imported into Singapore with Temporary Permit or Bonded Import with Lotus’ bonded license. Import GST will be suspended upon importation for artwork imported for exhibition and storage at Lotus’ bonded warehouse. NO deposit is required. Import GST is not applicable for subsequent export as long as the export is handled by Lotus. Import GST is applicable if the artwork is sold and remains in Singapore for personal consumption.

Our official shippers can import your shipments with GST suspended under the Zero-GST warehouse scheme as long as the works are stored at their licensed premise.
GST is applicable once the goods are removed from the licensed premise except for framing and restoration.
Artworks imported under the Zero-GST warehouse scheme remain under customs control until they are customs cleared when GST payable is settled and/or temporary permit status being offset as per Singapore Custom’s record.
To ensure that your artwork arrives safely and on time, do ensure that all packages are packed and built to international shipping standards. Below are some guidelines:
Strong, waterproof cases that can withstand natural elements
Opening sides of crates should use screws instead of nails
Lifting points, weight distributors and handling directions on each case/packing should be indicated
Wrap all items separately
Use new rigid/double wall cardboard, as reused boxes could easily get damaged
We take security at the fair very seriously. Internal security patrols will be carried out, along with spot checks and bag searches, but the Organisers cannot accept any responsibility for loss, damage or accident.
If you require additional security for any of the works shown, kindly contact us at galleries@seafocus.sg.
