A sense of belonging is essential for engagement and resilience. We cultivate a safe, inclusive school culture by building meaningful, authentic relationships among students, families, educators, and external community partners. 

We identify and amplify each student's unique strengths while leading in the exploration of innovative technology. Through career inventories, apprenticeships, and specialized training, we introduce students to entrepreneurial opportunities in STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) 

Learning extends beyond the classroom. Our students use a service-based learning approach to tackle local environmental, health, and social issues. By partnering with city officials and local nonprofits, students conduct research and test solutions that directly impact the DeSoto community
