Core Workshops

Open to all ages, levels and instruments.

An informal performance space open to all instruments, ages and levels. Practice your recital or concert pieces in front of a peer audience and gain feedback from faculty on performance techniques in a positive and supportive environment.

Class Details:

• Ages: All

• Materials: Students must bring their own instrument and music, only piano available

• Class Capacity: Up to 15 students may attend. Students will be performing in the order they have signed up and between 6-8 performances are expected. All other attendees may observe.

• Important Details: To allow for the greatest number of student performances, all musicians are asked to limit their performance piece to 5 minutes or less.

Students work together in teams to determine if clues are the names of songs or names of cities around the world. Listen to and learn about new songs and mark your CSMA passport worksheets for all the countries you visit! Prizes for the winning team!

• Class Capacity: Up to 20 students may attend. Students will be randomly assigned into teams based on the number of attendees
