Using an array of physical mediums to supplement digital and analog filmmaking, I explore themes of memory and identity with a handmade touch. The ridges of my fingerprints, the granular flaking of crushed and dried leaves, and crumbs of scraped emulsion are evidence of human interaction within my work. I draw connections between the past and present to honor the eras of my life and work through experiences. Through layers of celluloid, ink, and graphite, I examine the delicate complexity of thoughts in time. Traces of me are fossilized in everything I make, forever creating new memories and new identities.
