ExTV is SAIC’s student-run platform for time-based media, dedicated to showcasing student work in innovative and accessible ways. We provide opportunities for artists working with video, animation, performance, and experimental media to share their work with the SAIC community and beyond.

From campus monitors to public access TV, on-campus screenings to our annual ExFEST film festival, we create multiple avenues for students to exhibit their work in dynamic formats. Whether you're looking to share a short video, participate in themed screenings, or compete in ExFEST, ExTV is here to support and amplify your vision.

ExFest, ExTV's 20th Annual Student Film Festival, is now accepting early submissions! We are seeking innovative moving image work from SAIC students for inclusion in our upcoming juried festival. Select works will be featured in the Fall 2025 ExFest screening. Submit your work now for early consideration!

Trash Bash April 11, 2025 4:30-6pm

Get ready for Trash Bash, a celebration of all things lo-fi, campy, chaotic, and beautifully bad! We’re calling for time-based media in all its glorious garbage forms—found footage remixes, VHS oddities, glitchy experiments, DIY masterpieces, cursed animations, trashy TikToks, and beyond.
