Arthur Academy has a school wellness committee, who will ensure compliance with the policy.
The school level wellness committee will convene at least twice per year to establish goals for and oversee school health and safety policies and programs, including development, implementation, and periodic review and update of this school wellness policy (heretofore referred as “wellness policy”).
The Executive Director, Principals and appointed committee members will represent all school levels and include (to the extent possible), but not be limited to: students, school staff, parents and caregivers; PE teachers; mental health and physical health professionals, school board members, and the general public. To the extent possible, the Wellness Committee will reflect the diversity of the community.
The Executive Director will convene the Wellness Committee and facilitate development of and updates to the wellness policy, and will ensure each school’s compliance with the policy.
All stakeholders are able to participate in the development, review, update, and implementation of the School Wellness Policy. For more information, please contact the Arthur Academy

At least once every three years, Arthur Academy will evaluate compliance with the wellness policy to assess the implementation of the policy.
The Wellness Committee will update or modify the wellness policy based on the results of the triennial assessment and/or as school priorities change; community needs change; wellness goals are met; new health science, information, and technology emerges; and new
Federal or state guidance or standards are issued. The wellness policy will be assessed and updated as indicated at least every three years, following the triennial assessment.
