Resource Coordinator Job Description
We are looking for people to work in a school setting to monitor students at recess and lunch, help keep the school clean and assist the school staff with other duties as needed. The Resource Coordinator (RC) is an integral part of our school system.
School/Staff/Student Support Tasks:
Follow the Arthur Academy Behavior Management system in all areas of the school including recess, lunch, lines, classrooms
Follow the Arthur Academy RC Handbook
Support Social and Emotional Learning in all areas of the school
Follow the “Project” list provided in the school office
Classroom push-in support as stated on the all school schedule
Assist with arrival and dismissal
Embrace the Arthur Academy Core Values and Mission
Lifts at least 40 lbs and store/organize supplies
Playgrounds, Fields, Recess Tasks:
Provide recess coverage/supervision according to the Arthur Academy supervision plan or procedures; actively monitor all students to ensure safety
Safety awareness at all times
Support Social and Emotional Learning at recess
Implement all Student Safety and Behavior Plans
Maintain and inventory the recess equipment (work closely with the OC to ensure recess equipment is ordered when needed)
Maintain the cleanliness of the playgrounds/fields (ensure students pick up trash, their belongings etc)
Administer first aid
Help maintain the Lost and Found
Meal Service/Lunchroom Tasks:
Supervise students according to the Arthur Academy supervision plan or procedures; actively monitor all students to ensure safety
Follow all food and beverage regulations
Ensure students wash hands or use hand sanitizer before meals and should be encouraged to do so after
Maintain appropriate daily cleaning of meal items (e.g., plates, utensils, transport items) in classrooms or where meals are consumed
Constantly clean and sanitize all of the meal touch-points and meal counting system between classes/groups
Regularly clean tables between meal periods
Support Social and Emotional Learning in the lunchroom
Cleaning, Disinfecting and Ventilation Tasks:
Clean, sanitize and disinfect on a regular basis or according to the schedule
Apply disinfectants safely and correctly following labeling directions as specified by the manufacturer and keep these products away from students (locked up)
Ensure portable air purifiers are working properly and the filters are replaced as needed
Qualifications and Pay:
Strong Communication skills, verbal and written, include effective phone skills
Ability to interact successfully with students grades K-5, teachers and parents/guardians
Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing school needs in a team environment
Ability to clearly develop a daily schedule of all tasks to perform for each day
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Food Handlers Card (or obtain one before position starts)
First-Aid/CPR/AED Card (or obtain one before position starts)
Position follows a school schedule of mid-August through mid-June (with winter, spring and summer breaks unpaid).
Compensation: Starting at $17.00 per hour

Office Coordinator Job Description
The Office Coordinator (OC) is an integral part of our school system. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Administrative Tasks:
Follow the Arthur Academy OC Handbook
Provides administrative support to principal and Intervention Specialist as needed
Update all staff, student and parent/guardian information upon immediate notification of the change
Maintains student files and transfers records/files according to all applicable policies
Provides various reports daily, weekly, and monthly as needed by the principal
Utilizes various online systems to ensure all essential and applicable data is accurately entered, maintained, and updated
Keeps the school website accurate and up-to-date
Serves as the lead of the school's Safety Team and keep the Safety Binder updated
Tracks student attendance and sends out attendance notices
Office Tasks:
Answers phones and direct calls/retrieve and relay phone messages
Submits orders for purchasing
Lifts at least 40 lbs and store/organize supplies
Office equipment maintenance
Oversees general school appearance and minor repair issues
Communicates with the cleaners
Arranges summer cleaning
Makes copies
Picks up and organizes mail
Collects and accurately tracks money
Creates and maintains efficient and organized filing systems
Maintains the school uniform exchange
Maintains the online student store in conjunction with the principal, Central Office and the AAPO
Oversees the organization and tracking of student devices (Chromebooks) and staff devices
Maintains and implements a student onboarding and offboarding checklist
Maintains and implements a staff onboarding and offboarding checklist
School/Staff/Student Support Tasks:
Serves food to students
Implement all Student Safety and Behavior Plans

Administer first aid and student medications
Accurately maintains student medication info
Schedules events as needed by the principal such as but not limited to:
School Pictures
Assemblies
Field Trips
Provide support in regard to AAPO procedures and processes

Qualifications and Pay:

The Office Coordinator is the first point of contact for visitors so you MUST be friendly, polite, assertive, alert and aware of security and safety protocol.
