Shire Business Meetings

These meetings are where all of the officers of the Shire get together to discuss current goings on such as upcoming events, classes, and general updates on their respective office duties. The general populace is, of course, welcome to attend and put in their say as well. Business meetings typically take place on the 2nd Thursday every month at 6:30 p.m. in our usual meeting spot. 

Arts and Sciences Meetings

Every week, we bring our own projects to work on and spend time getting to know our fellow members of the Shire. This is a great way to build a community and stay in touch with the historical recreation community. These meetings also can include classes on various skillsets from a wide array of cultures and time periods and group projects to make gifts for visiting royalty. These meetings occur on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

Armored Fighter Practice

Rapier Fighter Practice

Rapier is a medieval sword fighting practice reminiscent of what is commonly known as fencing, named after the type of blade used. Thrown Weapons Practice

The martial practice of thrown weapons includes the hurling of projectiles such as axes, knives, and spears at a designated target.  This is a summer activity here in this shire.
